Just met Ron Herzman (one of the directors)
and Lynn's husband...they are in the Internet cafe. They seemed nice...reserved...I
have still not met anyone from the seminar, but we are all meeting
tonight for dinner, so this will be the moment to see how everyone
is.
The scheda or phone card that I bought has
not worked at all. Tried calling you six times and couldn't even
get to the calling card option. Its pretty confusing, but ill ask
about it tonight at dinner.
The weather is surprisingly temperate
here. There is a slight breeze, so the heat really hasn't set in.
If it stays like this, count us lucky.
It is a beautiful but hot day here...
We had first part of orientation (walking tour of one part of city)
during the morning. The other part is at 4...no one really does
much during the very hot hours...except sleep like gray. I cannot
believe the collar escapades!
I don't know what is going on for dinner...probably
going to the market and cooking, as eating out gets expensive. So
far today I have only spent three euro which is pauper territory.
Nothing like being on a vacation....
