just caught the bus into town...have been checking on bus tickets
for a day trip tomorrow to Volterra

volterra is an estruscan town with ruins
Bonies:
actual roman ruins....some of the best preserved roman ruins around....wish
you were here to go with us

me, amelia, laura, anne marie, maybe jean

abstrait: Perhaps one day, I
will actually SEE these fellow students. As of yet, there is no
record they exist.... Rule #1: Insert humans in pictures. Extra
points for authentic Italians.... how far is Volterra?

about 1.25 hours by bus
Bonies:
public transportation is great
abstrait:
no tains? so they dont use train there as much as other countries?
Bonies:
no. train isnt convenient as train station is 9 km from Volterra
Bonies:
to major cities they do...the bus line is soooo convenient to florence
...a straight shot there that takes like 1 hour
abstrait:
dont know much about volterra...as in nothing

are the buses nice?

Fortunately, some of the buses are better than others...the one
to florence yesterday had air conditioning

the one back..... didn't. I lost 4lbs.

slept late this morning a bit. It was nice..until i woke up sweating

just sent one that i really love...kinda strange but color is very

i do need to sit down and write...i will do this soon. i promise

there is just so much reading to do ...3 and 4 hours a night if
you do it all as you should

are you back? as for the camera, make SURE the zoom is all the way
backed out. .dont use the zoom..if you handt noticed, the pics arent
as good
