Clamp

Progressive Engineering turntables clamp the record to the platter. This flattens out warps, and it also couples the LP tightly to the platter so internal resonances can be transmitted away from the stylus. The Turntable makes use of a screw-down clamp and tapered washer to tightly press the record down onto the flat platter, right to its edges.
