Platter

The platter of The Turntable is machined from acrylic. The material closely approximates the mechanical and acoustical properties of the vinyl record itself, enhancing the coupling between both. This helps to dissipate vibrational energy away from the stylus/ record interface. Polishing the platter gives it a distinctive, elegant appearance.
